The is one of the closest railway station of Bangladesh to India, only some 80 meters away from the border. At night people can see the halogen lights posts of the Indian border fence from the train. The place witnessed some important events of our liberation war.

Kasba railway station is the nearest railway station of Bangladesh-India border.
it has been established when India sub continent was the colony of British. after the liberation of India &Pakistan from British this place added with Pakistan state as the border of Pakistan &India. now this place is the land of Bangladesh, besides this station there has a international port between two countries called TARAPUR KAMOLA SAGOR BORDER HAT.
after all this place has aesthetic natural beauty.and also has a large chapter of liberation war of Bangladesh

Nice Railway station, but small. However, noe it's under upgrade. So hope very soon it will be a model railway station. Bye the way it's near to india Bangladesh Border. U can see indian some market and their hills from the station or train.

Very small railway station, near Indo-Bangla border, with limited facilities. Meter Gauge trains run through this station. A small marketplace surrounds it. However, this station will have immense importance in near future. Train lines are being upgraded shortly. Broad Gauge trains will run and it will save time of Travellers.

When the station was built, it was maintained very carefully. However, slowly, it lost its previous condition. The station has few security guards, station masters, along with one station manager. Every day, thousands of people come through the station.
