  It is very important stand for toke, raniganj, monohardi, chalakchar, kishoregonj bus road. It is quiet busy area. it stands just beside rive shitalakhya. It is the eastern side of the Gazipur district. Kapasia is a historical place for Taj uddin ahmed. He born in kapasia, gazipur and served as the first Prime Minister of Bangladesh and led the wartime provisional government during the Bangladesh Liberation War in 1971.
