This is a busy stopage for different type of transports. Highway buses stop here as they got to board on the ferry from this place. There are lot of shops on the both side of the road. So people can buy foods and refreshments from this bus stop. Micro buses can be hired from here which generally move toward Mawa ghat. People willing to get on to highway buses coming from the other side of the river should reach the bus stop early and be prepared as most of the Dhaka going highway buses stop here for only a few minutes.
