  The college is named under the name of founder Mr hossen. It is the best college of kalkini upazilla. It has an air conditioned library with high volumes along with physics, chemistry, computer, biology, mathematics, geography labs for performing experiments. Bright students participate in mathematics, physics, and astronomy Olympiads.
