  জোড়্গাছের প্রাণকেন্দ্র বলা যায় এই বাজার কে।তবে নদী ভাঙনের ফলে দিনেদিনে এর আয়তন ছোট হয়ে গেছে।
  চিলমারীর সবচেয়ে বড় পশুর হাট বসে এই বাজারে।
  প্রত্যেক সপ্তাহের রবিবার এবং বুধবার হাট বসে।

  Historically this place is so famous. People are using this place for connecting with the nearest island of this area. You will find some shops over there like groceries and tea stalls.

  In very past this old Chilmari was one of the famous places of this continent. Many people came here for business with big ships through Bharamahputra river. Now this place is under water and sometimes it aroses with sand. Many history and story goes with the names of old Chilmari and Jorgach. It is my birth place, my maternal grand parents home is here. Love this place very much.
