  Very popular place within the local community. There are two Lunch runs directly from Dhaka to Jhalokathi. They are scheduled on alternative days. Usually Thursdays have rush towards Dhaka.
  Multiple lunches runs on different locations from here too.

  There are 4 large launches regularly sail through between here and Dhaka. Besides, several small vessels also operate among some local routes. But considering the importance and historical value, the terminal is very tiny as well as dirty. The security system is also not very satisfying. Even there is no passengers' waiting room although a very strong and powerful Minister from the ruling party represents this historical area. Wishing to have a complete Terminal immediately with taking necessary steps by the great National Leader.
