Though the cost of treatment is reasonable, service is not upto the mark. They don't have the minimum management capacity. All the employees are from extremely religious background and don't possess any scientific outlook towards medical science and diagnosis. For example, they will suggest you to recite prayers to get rid of COVID-19 instead of taking necessary scientific evidence based precautions.
My mother was admitted here due to brain hemorrhage for 12 days and made her primary recovery while admitted here. Their overall behavior was good despite their serious lack of management capacity. One more thing to be added, they have one of the best pool of specialist doctors in Khulna and the specialists visit the respective patient once in a day and rest of the time monitored by junior doctors.

Service is very poor in this branch. There is gulf of difference between branches of dhaka and Khulna of the same hospital. Ironically service charge is same in both places.

I asked for an ambulance at mid night. The driver showed all possible excuse not to turn up. Finding no other way I had to call the highest managing body. Then ambulance reached my house and by that time one and half hour is gone. There was no stretcher bearer. As I contacted the highest authority, one security guard came to help. ( so guys there is no difference between Microbus and ambulance) Entire evacuation load is yours.

After reaching the hospital the emergency duty doctor didn’t respond and receive the patient. Rather One ward boy came and asked what is the problem with the patient. But he didn’t show any intent to evac the patient from the ambulance. Then duty doctor arrived after few minutes but didn’t tell us anything and no instructions to evacuate the patient to emergency cabin.

Then I went to his room and asked what next. He informed me that he is referring the patient to government hospital. He is not willing to treat critical and aged patient. Then I asked him what is the purpose of this hospital if you refuse to treat patient. Then he agreed but asked to leave hospital if situation deteriorates. Funny isn’t it?

Then procedure at the reception. Another valuable hour gone. None came to aid to evacuate the patient from hospital.

It seems brought patient by Microbus and then visiting a substandard hotel. There are other issues that includes qualities of doctors, non coop of nurses and ward boys.

Overall I don’t recommend Khulna Islami bank hospital. This should be the last option if you are compelled to hospitalise your near and dear ones

Islamic Hospital Khulna is an old clinic. It has been occupied only after Khulna Medical College Hospital, although it is owned by the person. Nevertheless its quality of service is very good and acceptable. Here all medical services are provided by skilled doctors. It is located in the center of Shanti Dham.Islamic hospitals also provide their services 24 hours a day. That means that people can get the services at any time. Here the outdoors patients are seen in exchange for a very small amount, so here the poor people get the services of the doctor. So I think place in the hospital after Khulna Medical College in Khulna.I prefer this.

Very organized services, experienced consultants and helpful staff. They provide 25% discount to all diagnosis. Special case like Cancer patients gets up to 42% discount. Very reasonable and helpful for low wage earners. Islamic bank provides subsidiary fund to manage the discounted rates. It is a contemporary designed private hospital in Khulna city.
