Sir P. J. Hartog International Hall is a residential hall accommodating foreign students of the University of Dhaka. It is a good accommodation at a real low price. There is a canteen, a saloon, a laundry and a convenience store inside. Front view is excellent. It was built few decades ago, life is vibrant here. Students can live with their spouse.

I visit this place for approximately ten years. Its a nice place for Dhaka University teachers having a small family. One part of it for teachers, another part is for foreign students. In the 2nd floor there is a small nice mosque. The overall building management is good. Floors are clean and waiting area is also decent. For the residents, water filters are attached for drinking water.

When are foreigners allowed to apply for PhD at DU because it's not mentioned in the prospectus ?
Can a foreign student apply for PhD anytime ?

This is one of famous Hall of University of Dhaka. This residence is specifically for boys and girls. The most romantic, historc place also. Always been crowded, joyful place. Very nice looking and very nice place to live specially for students.
