  Institute of engineering and technology (IET), rangpur is the first private polytechnic in rangpur district. It was situated in 2003 at guptopara, rangpur. After some years later it was shifted at shalbon mistripara, haragach road, rangpur.their have five technology they are electrical, civil, machanical, computer and textile.

  IET is the 1st private polytechnic institute in Rangpur Division. They have sufficient instrument in their Lab Room. There are 5 Technology- Computer, Electrical, Civil, Mechanical and Textile. They approve world bank Students stipend. 75% boys and 100% Girls student will get this stipend. This institute is only RPL center in Rangpur Division.
