Indian Visa Application Center one of the largest Indian visa processing agency in the world. Visa services of High Commission of India, Dhaka, Assistant High Commission of India, Chittagong and Assistant High Commission of India, Rajshahi are outsourced to State Bank of India. SBI's Indian Visa Application Center (IVAC) at Gulshan, Dhaka was established in December 2005 followed by IVAC, Chittagong in October 2006, IVAC, Sylhet in July 2009, IVAC, Motijheel in July 2009, IVARC, Khulna in May 2011, IVAC, Rajshahi in 11th December 2012, IVAC opened at Dhandondi on 1st January 2015 and shifted to IVAC Mirpur 13th November 2016, The last IVAC was opened at Jessore on 20th December together. IVAC processes around 5 lacs visa applications of Bangladeshi Passport holders in a year, which, by far, could perhaps be the largest number by any visa processing agency worldwide.

State Bank of India (SBI), the majority share holding of which lies with the Government of India is the largest commercial bank in India and one of the top 20 banks in Asia.SBI has 15000 branches in India and 186 branches outside India. Bad service :-
They provide a very bad service, specially for foreign passport. One can miss out an expected visit if he/she doesn’t have enough time in hand. They would say 5-6 days for getting Indian visa when apply, yet they might take 15-30 days. Unfortunately, You don’t know when you will get your visa. Moreover, you might be scared whether you will get back your passport or not. Also, you are not getting your money (9600 taka) back if you don’t get visa or you withdraw passport. This is sort of their money making business. I highly recommend people in Indian Embassy that please don’t give hard time or play with genaral people. We have to work hard for making money that you easily consume by providing horrible and doubtful services. I think People who work in Indian embassy, are well educated, so everyone wishes a good service, not a dump service, and no one faces horrible service like me. Thanks

The Indian visa application centre is managed by state bank of India. This is very busy and rushed place. The service of this visa centre is average. There is no facilities to submit the visa processing charge. For submitting the visa processing charge need to go at house:4, road:1,Gulshsn-1. For medical visa no need to take fixed appointment. The attitude of the staff is very bad.

This center is operating medical visa, transit visa etc. Tourist visas are conducted by Shyamoli branch only. Tourist visa with appointment (fixed date) is delt here. This branch is closest to the main embassy. Remind that if you apply for transit visa, you must have confirm up-down bus ticket and hotel booking at the destination.

First impression of the Indian VISA application Centre at Gulshan had improved significantly compared to the past (2001). Significantly less crowd with very few brokers in the area! The place offers a modest waiting room which is often not the case with some other embassies which let people stand outside. They also allow the visitors to keep their mobile phone although strictly request the visitors not to use them. Have been there twice this month (2018) and have experience their service. While waiting, have observed anomalies regarding use of phone inside the premises. I felt the guards have scope for improvement in the way they behave so do the visitors. Compared to the amount of people they serve, I would stay they are quite Good.

Indian Visa Application Center, Gulshan is controlled by the state bank of India. Their opening time is 8am-5pm. The attitude of their staffs are very rude. Service is quite rapid and not that much time consuming specially for women. But for men it will be quite lengthy due to the long line. I would say that they should maintain professional behavior with the applicant.

I will not stereotype whole India. May be the Indians are very nice and friendly people. However, this place is a threat to Indian reputation. In a foreign land this place may create a negative impression about India. Stuffs are very rude. Literally they have zero skill for customer service. Their attitude is really demotivating and ruin anyone's excitement to visit India. If India wants their tourism to be flourished, they need to seriously look in to these issues.

Brokers are everywhere. Security guards are strict with everyone excluding the brokers. So far the internal service is fast and well organized.

Indian Visa Application Center located Gulshan 1, very near of Gulshan shooting club. Every day hundreds of visa applicant visit there to submit their visa application with passport. Overall service of the IVAC is good. But they could provide better service. you can find many brokers there outside of IVAC.

Honorable Commissionaire of India should take necessary steps to smooth the Indian Visa processing system. People are suffering to get the Visa here. Some bad people are blocking the way to get Visa in a smooth way and taking money from public illegally. So please do something.

The center run by State Bank of India. Attitude of most of the staffs are very bad. They treat visa applicants very rudely. Most of the staffs are involved with corruption. Mainly IT team and top officers are corrupted. They have a strong syndicate of brokers and police. VERY BAD!

Now a days services have been improved much. Visa application acceptance rate has also been increased. I am quite satisfied with the services of this center except standing for an hour in the long queue of the applicants for tourist visa in the morning . Good thing is a woman doesn't need to stand in the queue regardless of the visa category she is applying for.

For Bangladeshis, no annoying experience comes even close to the harrowing encounter of standing in line for hours and praying to get an Indian Visa. The service is poor, of that there is no doubt. However, dealing with the frustration of many people cutting lines by paying visa lobbyists is the most frustration experience, especially if you've already been standing in the heat for hours.

It is one of the twelve Indian Visa Application Center in Bangladesh. It is run by State Bank of India. IVAC processes around five hundred thousand visa applications of Bangladeshi Passport holders in a year. Though the number is high but their service is a bit poor. For getting any service You have to wait in long queues always . Website is not up to the mark. It is impossible to get a date of appointment from the website.
