Autonomous org. (Hospital) of BD Red Crescent. The most renowned hospital in Bangladesh, specially the environment & atmosphere!! This is a gathering free & vip area of Dhaka.
There are almost all (except few) deptt. to get treatment & thorough check up for for patients. This is a Medical college hospital, doctors are 24 hours available here! At the mid night, when you need emergency treatment - this hospital is open and available although no any other!!

Its a good hospital & the staff are very helpful, you can find various kinds of medical equipment & it has some of the best facilities in bangladesh. Although all off this features the price of all this isn't that much. But make sure to ckeck the bill before payment as sometime there may be double entry of the same test on the bill

This is a private hospital situated near the Dhaka metropolitan Police headquarters and it is very popular in this area everybody of this region wants to go to this hospital for their medical service.

At the same time I think all the doctors are very professional and experience so these students and the general people actually get the best service from the main stakeholders of this medical college in hospital.

Therefore I appreciate their actions every day that people actually are benefited.

The Holy Family Red Crescent Medical College started its journey in the academic year 1999-2000 by the inspiration of daughter of Father of the Nation & defender of the democracy Prime Minister Janonetri Sheikh Hasina. Sheikh Fazlul Karim Salim, MP was the Hon'ble Health Minister of the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. Sheikh Kabir Hossain was Chairman, Bangladesh Red Crescent Society and Professor Dr. Md. Maniruzzaman Bhuiyan was Principal of Holy Family Red Crescent Medical College.

Holy Family Red Crescent Medical College is a project of Bangladesh Red Crescent Society (BDRCS) and is run by a Governing Body duly formed by the representatives of sponsor organization Bangladesh Red Crescent Society (BDRCS), representatives from the University of Dhaka and Government of Bangladesh.

The College follows the MBBS course curriculum as laid down by Dhaka University and Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council. Government of Bangladesh regulates the criteria of qualification of students and the University of Dhaka conducts the professional examinations and certificates of MBBS degree are awarded by them.

It started its journey with 50 students in the academic year 1999-2000. Presently we have about 978 students and 140 students are admitted during every academic session including up to a maximum of 50% foreign students. Fifteen batches of students have already qualified as doctors and fourteen batches have completed their internship training and the fifteenth batches are undergoing internship training in Holy Family Red Crescent Medical College Hospital (HFRCMCH) which is a tertiary care Hospital established in the year 1953 with 720 beds and delivering clinical services in all specialties of medical science.

The Holy Family Red Crescent Medical College and Hospital is located in a quiet and serene environment at the heart of Dhaka city at 1, Eskaton Garden Road, Dhaka-1000 on 8.10 acres of land. The construction of the new modern six storied academic building covering an enormous area of one lac twenty three thousand square feet with all modern amenities is already completed and academic activities have started in the mean time at all the levels.

Since its establishment in the year 2000, Holy Family Red Crescent Medical College has come a long way during the last 19 years and achieved a great reputation amongst the non-government medical colleges in the country. We admit students with high merit and aptitude. We have adequate qualified teaching staff and modern teaching aids like computers, multimedia projector and digital sound system for effective delivery of lectures. This medical college has a full fledged library with sufficient text, reference books and journals. The library has high speed internet facilities with HINARI access. Holy Family Red Crescent Medical College is enlisted in the AVICENNA Directory (former WHO medical directory). This college is also enlisted with FAIMER International Medical Education Directory-IMED. American Medical Council recently recognized MBBS Course completed from our Medical College. MRCP Part-I Orientation Course has been started in our Medical College in the mean time. Our College is also a centre for FCPS Part-II Examination. We have an international standard bi annually published scientific publication, named Journal of Medical Science and Research which, is fully accredited with Bangladesh Medical & Dental Council. Our vision is to lead this institution into a Centre of Excellence for medical education, training and service.

Well maintained nad proper cleanliness is observed there. Stuff are professional behaved. Though renovation is running at inner exterior, need more works on ward and cabin setup. Like switch, light holder, washroom fittings, lack of modern touch.

I had a very bad experience with this hospital. I had a problem of panic disorder with agoraphobia. I was taken to here during midnight emergency. The doctor in charge told that I am drug addict and simply said that give me 3000 money and I will see.
When my friends asked him okay what will you do after giving you money? Then he simply replied "nothing, I will keep him in observation until morning". If I was in a condition to be simply left over then I would not go to hospital emergency.
The hospital doctors were nonsense. I simply left the emergency then and moved to ad din hospital beside it and finally I was treated with care.
