Himchori is approximately half an hour drive from Cox Bazar, through the beautiful marine drive. One side of the road has small hills with sharp cliffs and beach on the other side, which makes the journey really amazing. Local Burmese market is there. After the market, there is a small waterfall. Some stairs are there to go up to the hill top. View from the hill top was amazing, good place for the nature lovers for watching sunset.

Himchhari Natural Park is just around 5 kilometers apart from the main town. You can reach at that place by any kind of vehicles. To enter the area, you’ll need to buy tickets. Which is around 20 taka. There is only two place that you can enjoy at the park, one is the falls, and another one is the top of the hill. you can also visit this place.

Park is nice to see. But it is very dirty. They need to use the money they are collecting to clean the park and make it more attractive for foreign visitors. Fix the stairs that people are climbing. Make it more safe. Setup seating areas and they can make people feel comfortable.

Very beautifully. There is a waterfall but the main beauty is on the top of the mountain u can see the sea very clearly from above 250feet top ,and on the other side is high hills full of trees. Amazing! in one word it's mind blowing if u can see the sunset from that top.but the downside is they put 3tk vat on 20 tk entrance and u need to climb so many stairs to see that mind blowing view.

This is the area with two Mermaid resorts, one on the river estuary the other on the coast. Sadly not much sand, lots of mud. Constantly dredging the area for some reason. Food is good at both Mermaids, same menu and kitchen

Most of the tourists of Cox'sbazar visits this place. Amateurs do some trekking and hiking there on small hills. Panoramic view from top of the hill is awesome, Long Beach and sunset can seen here. It's secured. Road is smooth paved road. Tourist police has Cabo there. Some shops available there to collect some gifts for beloved persons.

A eye touching stream is blowing there which is main attraction for the tourists. You can ride the hill through the vertical stairs and get thrilled. You can enjoy the natural beauty from the apex of the hill specially the sun set in the other edge of the ocean.

A place where Sea & Hill meets together. There is a beautiful fountain & marine drive road. It has an excellent view from the top of the hill, one site you will find the hilly forest and other side the beautiful sea. Hire a Easy-Bike (around Tk. 100-200) from your hotel and visit the place by watching the beauty of sea & hill.

No cascade but a drain in the middle of the park. Hill provides a good beach look. Marine drive road has a fantastic tour opportunity.

Located just south of the town of Cox’s Bazar in Bangladesh, the Himchari National Park is comprised of lush tropical rain forest, grasslands and trees, and features a number of waterfalls, the biggest of which cascades down toward the sandy, sun-drenched beach. The natural beauty of the area provides a welcome break from the hustle and bustle of city life, for locals as well as tourists. The flora and fauna in the area is abundant and birders never fail to be delighted at the extensive bird-life.

Himchari National Park welcomes more than two million visitors each year, with the majority of holiday-makers in the ever-popular seaside town Cox’s Bazar taking time out to explore the reserve, while others travel from Dhaka to spend the day. If you are planning a visit to Bangladesh, try to include a visit to the Himchari National Park – a treasure trove of natural wonders.

Located just south of the town of Cox's Bazar in Bangladesh, the Himchari National Park is comprised of lush tropical rain forest, grasslands and trees, and water falls. To protect the area from encroaching developments, Himchari National Park was established in 1980 by the Bangladeshi government as a conservation area for research, education and recreation. There are well over 100 species of trees, shrubs, grasses, canes, palms, ferns and herbs in the park, while this wide variety of plant life provides suitable habitats for the more than 286 species of birds. The Himchari National Park is home to around 56 species of reptiles and 13 amphibian species, apart from other majestic animals like elephant & mammals.

A great initiative by the government of Bangladesh to preserve some greenery near to Bay of Bengal. You would love to stop by the hillocks while traveling along the Marine Drive, Cox's Bazar.
