A place where you find calmity and feel the silence of the forest. The more you enter into the deep forest you feel the silence. There is a Jhorna in the forest. To go there you better get a guide from there. You can also enjoy 'Tree adventure' arranged by the forest authority. You can also arrange campfire and camping there.

Nature lovers can enjoy the place. Most of visitors walk for a small water falls & sure u enjoy the path of this way (Jhiripoth). Who's r not too expert to walk on sleepy way no need to go. 4' to 5' feet depth water some places.
Here u can enjoy the tea garden and can enjoy pera military climbing 100 tk.

It was full of natural beauty!! Tea garden was awesome & lovely.. Little bit hilly, some are in plane land.. The tea garden was named Rangapani Tea Garden.. And beside it we enjoy "Tree Activities" in the area of Forest Department.. It was very adventurous & enjoyable to us..

Truly remarkable destination for camping and adventuring. this place is surrounded with couple of Tea garden, you can see various kinds of animals. further more there is a Tree adventure facility which is really cool.

হাজারিখিল বন্যপ্রাণী অভয়ারণ্য:
বাংলাদেশের চট্টগ্রাম জেলায় অবস্থিত একটি বন্যপ্রাণী অভয়ারণ্য। এলাকাটি পুরাতন ও নতুন বৃক্ষের বন। চট্টগ্রাম উত্তর বন বিভাগের রামগড় সীতাকুণ্ড সংরক্ষিত বনের চুড়ার পূর্ব পার্শে প্রাকৃতিক বনাঞ্চল ও বন বাগান বিদ্যমান। ২০১০ সালের ৬ এপ্রিল এটি প্রতিষ্ঠিত হয়। ২৯০৮ হেক্টর জমি নিয়ে এই বন্যপ্রাণ অভয়ারণ্যটি গঠিত। এলাকাটিকে ১৮৯৩ সালে "রামগড়-সীতাকুণ্ড সংরক্ষিত বন" হিসাবে ঘোষণা করা হয়। ১৯৭১ এর স্বাধীনতা যুদ্ধে এবং পরবর্তীতে ১৯৯০ এর ৩০ এপ্রিল প্রলয়ংকরী ঘূর্ণিঝড়ে বনাঞ্চলের ব্যাপক ক্ষতি হয়। পরবর্তী সময়ে বিভিন্ন প্রকল্পের অধীনে বনায়ন কর্মসূচি অব্যাহত রাখার কারণে বর্তমানে পুনরায় এলাকাটিতে পশুপাখির বিচরণ ক্ষেত্রে পরিণত হয়েছে।
বন্যপ্রাণীর এক বিশেষ অঞ্চল হাজারিখিল । এইখানে হরেক রকমের জীবজন্তুর দেখা মিলে । উল্লেখযোগ্য বন্যপ্রাণীর মধ্যে ভাল্লুক, বন বিড়াল, মেছবাঘ, শিয়াল, মায়া হরিন,সাম্বার, বন কুকুর, বন ছাগল, বানর, হনূমান দেখতে পাওয়া যায় । এলাকা বাসির সাথে কথা বলে জানা যায় এইখানে চিতা বাঘের অস্তিতের কথা। এছাড়া এই বনে ১০৭ প্রজাতির পাখি, ৮ প্রজাতির উভচর, ২৫ প্রজাতির সরীসৃপ দেখতে পাওয়া যায়।
চট্টগ্রাম মহানগর হইতে সড়ক পথে আনুমানিক ৬৫ কিমি উত্তরে চট্টগ্রাম খাগড়াছড়ির ফটিকছড়িস্থ বিবিরহাটের পশ্চিম দিকে বিবিরহাট- হাজারিখিল- বারৈয়াঢালা সড়কে অবস্থিত।

Remnant of Natural Forest of Bangladesh. Rich in both flora and fauna. Exceptionally notable for beautiful bird species along with deer, monkey, wild boar, wild dog, hare. Recently a few cheetahs are also being reported to be found in a camera trap survey. I have recently being there and explored the sanctuary for research purpose. Every nature lover should visit this, I think.
