It’s a very popular mosque in this area. The Imam of this mosque is very learned. In Friday prayer the mosque goes full to the brim.

This is one of the oldest mosque of Dhaka city which was established before the liberation war. Currently it's a two-storied mosque. Ground floor of the mosque is air conditioned.
