HARUNEYE FOUNDATION LTD. (HEFL) Company has been running afull-fledged specialized eye care hospital, HARUN EYE FOUNDATION HOSPITAL(HEFH), was incorporated on December 25, 1994as a private limited company andregistered with the Register of Joint Stock Companies.

Haruneye foundation hospital provides comprehensive eye care servicesto the patient, offers modern diagnostic facilities and performs world standardeye surgeries and laser procedures.There are 26renowned ophthalmologists are practicing in the campus of the hospital and onan average 400 patients are getting eye treatment daily from this hospital.From outside there are about 20 ophthalmologists and 40 trainee doctors areworking part time in this hospital and on an average 600 surgical proceduresare being done in a month. This Harun Eye Foundation Hospital is the firstspecialized private eye hospital of the country with high tech equipments,initiated the specialty group practice system of many ophthalmologists underthe same roof and now is the pioneer in the world standard sub specialtyservices to people of the country.

HARUNEYE FOUNDATION LTD. is now running under dynamicleadership of its Chairman, Dr. KhondokerImtiazHossain. Beinga private limited organization, the ownership of the hospital is now concentratedwithin 35 members with different share holding percentage. As on 30 June 2013,the authorized and paid up capital of the organization HEFL are Tk. 40.00million and Tk. 30.00 million respectively. The hospital has been establishedin a hired building located at 31, 06 Dhanmondi in 1994 and re-established on its premises located at House no#12/A, Road no#5, DhanmondiR/A, Dhaka-1205 in 2007.

The hospital provides eye care services with latesttechnology and clinical expertise. Basement of the building is car parking andelectric power supply sub station with two generators. The level 1, 2 and 4 ofthe building are the practicing zone for the renowned ophthalmologistsin different sub specialties and Level 3 is exclusive for operation theatrecomplex with six operation theaters, postoperative word, surgeon lounge forchanging and tea room. The Level 6 is occupied by the department ofinvestigation, Laser and office of the hospital and the company. There are 26renowned ophthalmologists on different sub specialties are regularly practicingin the practicing floors of the hospital and around 600 patients are attendingdaily for consultations. At present the hospital has 10VIP cabins, 5 generalbeds and 10 post operative beds. There are 6 operation theatres in the OTComplex at level 3 and average 500 patients are being operated per month inthis hospital. There are 30 to 40 guest eye surgeons are also operating eyesurgeries every day in the operation theatre complex of this hospital. In theinvestigation department there are 12 senior and junior technicians workingfor different imaging tests of thepatients referred by the ophthalmologists of this hospital, and many otherophthalmologists from different hospitals of Dhaka city and other regions orareas of the country. More than 5000 different types of imaginginvestigationsare being done by world standard equipments in this hospitalevery month.

There should be an option to give 0 stars. You guys are horrible. How could you ruin people's life by damaging their eyes? Just to earn money? If you don't have the knowledge to cure people you shouldn't be running the hospital. Or Just tell them you cannot cure them. Why you are experimenting with their eyes? You guys should be punished.

One of the thing that frustrated me is that I had to wait for too long to get to see the doctor. Air conditioning wasn't working properly when I visited last time. I would recommend you to go there if you have patience.

The internal environment of this hospital is neat and clean. There have car parking facilities, Lift, Mosque etc. It is very easy to visit this hospital from all around the city.

I visited their hospitals in a holy day so it was quit travel no any gathering there.
Their environment was not so bad they also said they have 24hours and 7days service for all.

had taken to a doctor for my wife's eye irritation problem, doctor is very friendly but crowded chamber. 1 doc, 1 doc's assistant, 1 equipment assistant, 1 doorman who controls in chamber patients - generally 2 patients at a time with extra 2/3 relatives with each. typical Bangladeshi way.

The founder of Harun Eye Foundation is professor A.Q.S.M. Harun who is renown doctor of Europe to Asia. He was DG of National Eye Institute. He left consultant post at United Kingdom for our mother land. He died 1st June, 2001.
He had a dream to make a organisation which will give their best service with upgrade technology.

Easy location to find out. But its so tough to get serial. For emergency patients, If they have refer slip ..den they can go for check up after 9pm for Sheikh M.A Mannaf sir ( glucoma specialist)..
