  Wonderful place! It's a rubber barrier for the water flow of this natural lake. It's very beautiful to look at when it is full filled with warer. It is made to control the water flow from Bangladesh to India. It's natural beauty will please you I think. In the wintet and summer it passes a small amount of water over it.

  If you visit Fotikchori. Never miss the opportunity to visit Halda rubber dam. It is artificially and specially made to control the water flow to help the farmers to grow good crops.I have actually went there to visit a relatives house and they told me there is a rubber dam,which is beautiful.I thought it will be so-so. But after reaching there I was awestruck by it its beauty and never thought a human creation will create a great natural scenery. There is no stairs to go down to the rubber dam. You have to go down by hill or concrete blocks,which is risky. The place of waterfall and water space is slippery.So you have to take every step consciously.But once you go down there you will never forget the memory.If you reserve a CNG.It will cost you 500 taka. With that reservation you can visit Halda tea state and Halda rubber dam together.
