  It is an ancient playground. Its old name is Helal Park. Later the Shah Abdul Hamid Stadium was kept. Abdul Hamid was the speaker of the first parliament of Bangladesh. The name of the stadium of Gaibandha was named after him. He was the son of Gaibandha.

  One of the oldest and most popular stadium of Bangladesh.Every independent day,mother language day and all historical day celebrate here.Need to some improvement like as international stadium.This is Sah abdul Hamid Stadium.Only one stadium in the district but different type sport and event take this stadium.

  One of the oldest Stadium of Bangladesh. Once in 1971 Pakistan-Bangladeah war it was a genocide place. Need modernization and improvement for international level. It needs renovations for sports every year. It is the only Stadium of Gaibandha district, situated at the heart of the town.
