If you are thinking off to buy tickets from here forget it. 🤐 Most corrupted railway station I have ever seen in my life is Gafargoan Railway Station. Always you have to Spend some extra money to get a seat. Also Be aware of pickpockets 😴 Best of luck

It is very popular railway station in Mymensingh, Bangladesh. It is popular for it's number of passengers. Numbers of passenger are high but number of seat allowed is low. So ticket blacking business is strong and popular here. Tickets are collect from other station in the way. Here the tickets price is thrice then it's original. Tickets blacker are movings around the station in fond of local and government administration. They have a great network. Here local politicians, police, station administration and the ticket syndicate work together.

Big station but its really hard to get a ticket that for the train sit. They sell ticket on black market. Station is not really clean. Ticket master is not helpful. They only want money. Wish local authorities do something for this station. This is a very important station people use it a lot.

An old Railway station, established by the British government, the doorway to Gaffargaon. Railway is the best (and only) way to travel to and from Gaffargaon to Dhaka or Mymensingh because of very poor road transportation through villages.
The station is not well maintained like many others in the region. This may be due to heavy passenger load daily. It should be kept more clean. There are incidents of pickpocketing on regular basis.
Six trains travel Twice daily from to Mymensingh via this station. The Intercity Tista Express is the most comfortable one. Tickets are not very easily available for the high demand. But you can manage on a higher price from the black market vendors.
Few tea stalls, resting benches are available. Waiting room and wash room are not so in good condition.response / report this review -

Very important rail way station but the location is not so decent. Railway police and also the thana police should play a vital role to secure the station. Violation, drugs and pickpockets are common problem in this station area.
