Gabtoli Bus Terminal is one of the biggest terminal of Bangladesh, locate in Mirpur. All type of Bus (i.e Ac/ Non Ac, Volvo) are available here. All counter of this terminal are decorated simply with cctv but no air condition. Outer side of terminal, having lot of standard level bus counter with outstanding decorated and air conditions. This terminal connect all area of Bangladesh with Capital Dhaka. specially north bengle and south bengle. There are not available restaurant and fast food. Sitting arrangement is not up to the mark. If some disadvantage of the terminal can be modified, terminal will be better.

One of our largest bus terminal connecting North Bangles and south Bangles Districts. There are different type of bus services are available here like AC and Non AC. Biggest Faridpur distinct's buses are mainly starting from this terminal. I mainly use this bus terminal to go to Faridpur by using Soutline bus service.

Most crowded place in Dhaka. This is the biggest bus stand in Dhaka to move north, northeast, east side of Bangladesh. All kind of bus services are available here. Place is covered. But need to develop the security system of this place. Sometime people who are new here are getting security risk. So authority of this place have to take serious action to make the place more save for the regular people. There are many local shop available. You can buy goods form here.
This place is not so clean. Environment of the place is not clean. The authority have to take action to make the place more clean. Thank you.

Gabtoli Bus Stand is the exit and entrance point of Dhaka city from the South-West, West and Northern part of Bangladesh. Everyday thousands of buses departure from here to many destination. This place remain crowed 24 hours. I like this place very much. I like to see the glowing faces of people who are going to their root. As it's crowded place sometimes you can lose your money bag and baggage. So, always be careful. Don't take any kind of food from unknown people.

The place is good, although not that much clean like most of the bus terminals of Bangladesh. But at the end of the day, it's really a useful place to go to different districts of southern & northern Bangladesh.
There are 3 bus terminals in Dhaka city, which cover a large area. They are Syedabad Bus Terminal, Mohakhali Bus Terminal & Gabtoli Bus Terminal (which we are reviewing about). All of them are under Dhaka South City Corporation.
Gabtoli bus terminal was situated on the final years of WW2, i.e. 1945. It covers an area of total 800 square meters (nearly). Nearly 1,400 buses can stay here.
You can reach here very easily from anywhere of Dhaka by picking up the right local bus, taking CNG driven auto rickshaws (most of the time they don't run according to meter fares, you must bargain a suitable fare or give him extra 20-30 taka out of meter fares) or taxi cabs (fare condition is like the previous one).
Pathao & Uber are most popular ride sharing services in Bangladesh, where you can ride both motorcycles or cars. Among them, Pathao is mainly popular for its motorcycle services while Uber is for cars. They provide different discounts regularly. You can also use their services to reach Gabtoli Bus Terminal. You just need to download the app from Google play Store.
'Dhaka Wheels' is another useful app which will let you know which local bus is available from your location to reach your destination within Dhaka city. You can use this app to find the right local bus to reach here.
'Vara Koto' (What's the fare?) is also a useful app which lets you know the fare according to distance. You can check fares here before taking any CNG driven auto rickshaws or taxis, so that you can stay one step ahead during the bargain. Beside this, Vara Koto lets you know about bus fares, bus routes, train updates & lot more all over Bangladesh.

Gabtoli Bust Terminal is one of the most important gateways and connecting point of Dhaka with the rest of the country, especially with the North-Bengal, South-West region along with the South region of Bangladesh. It is one of the biggest of the two bus terminals in Bangladesh while the other is Jatrabari. This place is always overcrowded. Be aware of cheaters & pickpockets. AC, Non-AC & Normal bus services are available here though bus fair varies. Never-ever a bus starts timely from here. Motor staffs are really cunning and know how to handle the passengers but sometimes they rudely behave with the passengers. Except being my departure place, there is not a single reason to like this place.

A national and a biggest bus station in Dhaka. It is situated west part of Dhaka city. Almost every district's bus counter here in Gabtoli. But the place is very dangerous coz there are lots of (dalal) agents of every transportation's company and they confuses passengers.
My recommendation is, better to purchase tickets through online then just go to the counter.

This is the largest & one of the oldest bus terminal of Dhaka. Thousands of commuters use this station everyday. This terminal is not well maintained & clean. This terminal lacks modern facilities including hygenic restaurants & restrooms for the passengers & staffs. Although busses are available through out the year but it become difficult to get tickets during the major festivals.

This bus terminal basically is a connection between Dhaka and the North and South part of the country. A lot of long route buses depart from this point every day. Sadly due to poor maintenance the terminal is not very comfortable for the passengers waiting there. There is no clean toilets, especially for women. The waiting area is also very dirty. The authority should take care of these issues.

Gabtoli bus terminal is one of the entrances of Dhaka city. Especially the people who come Dhaka city from northern part of Bangladesh, they have to pass through this Bus Terminal. This place is mostly crowdy and busy but the facilities in here is not sufficient for the passengers. There need to be develop and enable the passenger friendly environment in Gabtoli bus terminal!
