  ফরিদপুর জিলা স্কুল (ইংরেজি নাম : Faridupur Zilla School) বাংলাদেশের একটি প্রাচীন ও ঐতিহ্যবাহী শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠান। ১৮৪০ সালে তৎকালীন জেলা ম্যাজিস্ট্রেট এডগার এফ লুথার ইংলিশ সেমিনারি স্কুল নামে বিদ্যালয়টি প্রতিষ্ঠিত করেন। ১৮৫১ সালে ব্রিটিশ সরকার এ বিদ্যালয়টির ব্যয়ভার ও পরিচালনার দায়িত্ব নেয় ও তখন থেকে নাম হয় "ফরিদপুর জিলা স্কুল"। বর্তমানে ফরিদপুর জিলা স্কুলে প্রভাতী ও দিবা দুটি শাখায় চতুর্থ শ্রেনী থেকে দশম শ্রেনী পর্যন্ত পাঠদান করা হয়।

  One of the best schools of Bangladesh. Students are so obedient & teachers are so helpful & friendly. The environment of the campus is very calm & peaceful. There are many trees in the campus. The school has 3 large playgrounds & also a basketball ground. The structure of the school has many buildings. There also is a Mosque in the campus.

  Country's One of the oldest school. In 1840 the then district magistrate Edgar Ef Luther, established a school named English Seminary School. Very Big Campus, 3 Big size Playground, One Basketball Court, Shaheed Minar, Big Pond, Student Dormitory and much more. Every Facility is present here.
  BNCC, Rover Scout and other volunteer program is strongly present here. In term of S.S.C Result, Faridpur Zilla School always come First and unbeaten.
  The teachers are highly qualified and really caring. The natural view is stunning

  Faridpur Zilla School is a secondary school in Faridpur, the headquarters of Faridpur District, Bangladesh. In 1840 the then district magistrate Edgar Ef Luther, established a school named English Seminary School. In 1851 the British Government took the responsibility of the school and named it Faridpur Zilla School.

  Faridpur Zilla School is the most popular school in Faridpur. This is the only government boys school in Faridpur. Every year a good range of students join here. It is the best place for education in Faridpur.
