  This is one of the influential Police Station as well as Upazilla (one of the units of District) of Chandpur, a district known for Hilsha and river.
  The capital point of Faridganj is situated near the brink of Dakatia, once a mighty river, now almost defunctThis river is now got stagnant making all of its glory to go in oblivion very soon.
  Faridganj is demographically an abode of large amount of people. It is full of educational institutions, among tgem, a dominant number is Madrashahs. However, inclination of the youths and their guardians are rather to be wage earner and be a foreign remittance earner.
  Bust stand is on the road, a ubiquitous feature of Bangladesh. This needs to place somewhere else.
