Background of the Establishment of the University:
EXIM Bank Agriculture University Bangladesh is the country’s first private agricultural university at Chapainawabganj. As a sprout in the midst of the knowledge world, it started its journey creating new scopes for the students interested in higher education in agriculture and spread arena. Sheikh Hasina, the Hon’ble Prime Minister of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, inaugurated the university through a program held at her official residence, Ganobhaban in 9October, 2013. EXIM Bank Agricultural University Bangladesh started its journey with a view to enhancing the quality of higher education and creating skilled manpower throughout the country. Form the very beginning, this university has taken adequate initiatives for conducting quality research along with its academic activities. This university has also managed to accommodate outreach activities in order to ensure the best use of researched technology/knowledge in the development process of the nation. The prime aim of this university is to make it a sanctuary for education, research and a place for the dissemination of technology/knowledge. Though it is a private university, it has started its journey with a rational and humanistic promise of playing an important role in the national development process. EXIM Bank Agricultural University Bangladesh (EBAUB) is marching forward to create a favorable environment for multidisciplinary education by starting with Agriculture, Agricultural Economics, Fisheries, Veterinary Medicine, Law, and Business faculties. In order to develop the efficiency of the students the university has taken the initiative to run continuous research projects. In the meantime the university has decided to purchase 1200 bighas of land at Chapainawabganj, a rich agricultural region of Bangladesh for constructing the permanent campus. In this regard the university has already bought 90 bighas of land and the rest of 1110 bighas of land is under process for purchasing. Right now the university is running its academic activities in a palatial building with a rich library and 06 well equipped laboratories. There is another building adjacent to the existing one which is also used by the university for academic purposes.

Exim bank agriculture university: The first university in our city of mango.By reading the university name, u can understand that it's run by Exim Bank.It helps a lot of student who don't want to leave their home.This university provides Bachelor & Master degree.Now agriculture related subject are taught in this university But soon CSE, EEE subject will be taught.

EXIM Bank Agricultural University located in the heart of Chapai Nawabganj is the only research based private Agricultural University in Bangladesh. With an Aim to provide quality education to students it has got High Tech Laboratories and also well equipped computer facility for the faculty members and students. Owned By Export Import Bank of Bangladesh this University is working hard to create future leaders in agricultural research under the leadership of founding VIce Chancellor Dr. Abdul Mannan Akanda (Former Vice Chancellor of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University, Gazipur).
