Pros:
1. In the interior, overall system is systematic and well managed.
If all necessary documents of applicant are okay, then visa process will be smooth and quick.
2. People are helpful both Bangladeshi and US.
3. Nice architectural design.

Cons:
1. Long waiting line on the pavement blocking the general people.
2. No parking or people's waiting stand. Even no shed for the visa candidate. No electrical device(e.g. phone, pendrive, watch etc) and bag are allowed inside, also no storage policy at the main entrance is available.
3. Poor management at the main entrance. Only a single line for all the applicants regardless of their appointment time. Security guards call for the applicants but due to long line, difficult to hear them.

However, if you are a USA citizen or USA visa applicant of Bangladesh, you have to go there for service.

Visited 3 Times and The Compound is wonderful. Every activity is fully organized in timely manner. While visiting the compound please make sure you don't take any electronic devices and sealed envelope. the staffs of US embassy are friendly

As an American citizen 🇺🇸 I applied an immigrant visa for my wife, so I had an opportunity to visit the embassy for her interview. Interview went very well & got the visa. Visa counselor officer (white lady) was a very nice human being who spoke Bengali very well with my wife. It was a piece of cake 😀.
Embassy ground was a very well secured with cctv, guards, don't allow any electronic devices at all and have to have an appointment with necessary paperwork otherwise will be turned away. Good luck

Embassy of the update States of America located in very important location. Without appointment or Visa interview latter, entry inside is restricted. Neat and clean inside. No optical device, mobile phone allowed inside with applicant.

I called the embassy from the US about my sister's immigrant petition. I was expecting hours of being put on hold and not being able to talk to anybody. I was stunned to be able to talk to an individual very quickly. Not only that, he was extremely helpful and immediately offered to help me provided I gave him some additional information. I was very impressed by the whole experience. Keep up the good work!

I’ve worked here for couple of months. I enjoyed working here. Beautiful and secured place. However, for the visitors it is not that much welcoming. Access is restricted for security reason. If you have appointment you can enter but you are not allowed to bring some personal belongings like laptop, mobile phones etc.
