There's really a aero plane built in the top of the minars. I used to wonder why the name was aeroplane until I saw the aeroplane structure built at the top. It's quite a unique design for a mosque.

There is a statue of an Aeroplane on the top of Aeroplane mosque. That's why this mosque is called as Aeroplane mosque. This is a well known mosque in New market area. The mosque is situated near Gausia market and beside Golden plaza. It is a four stored building and It's whole part is used as the mosque. Different types of people come here to say prayer at 5 times in a day. This Mosque published is one of the oldest mosque in Newmarket area.

A well known mosque in Dhaka city placed near to gausia market. It is four stored building and have sufficient place to prayer for thousands of people. A mascot of airplane is placed on the top of the mosque which is rarely seen and probably the only one mosque using an airplane for its name and mascot.
