  DONET is a social Organization that designs innovative product and service solutions for women, children and youth in rural and urban settings to create social impact, and for institutions to enhance capacity and productivity. The 16 years journey in the domain of social service and welfare has bestowed great learnings and bittersweet experiences to the organization and following a step by step progression, DONET has now stepped onto DONET is an era, an important phase of the organization where it is evolved, transformed, focused and driven by its sheer willpower to serve the people of the society by harnessing the power of CIT and innovation.
  
  With a vision to empower the lives of marginalized and facility deprived people, this organization started its journey as a brainchild of a group of the then young professionals who nurtured a bonafide passion for improving the lives of the masses through socio-economic development. The energetic youth could foresee the endless possibilities that Information and Communication Technology could bring to enhance the lives of people. The Age of Information had just begun blooming in Bangladesh when they planned to make the best use of it. As responsible citizens of the country and the obligation towards the country and its people, these changemakers established the organization named ‘DONET’ 15 years ago. Since then, the organization has come a long way, spread across the nation as well as extended outside the boundaries of the country. DONET has set new standards and examples in the world of social innovations. The combination of ICT and social innovation has improved the lives of thousands of people like a charm.
  
  Transforming the lives of the people is a privilege and they have empowered people who make use of their training and knowledge to help better the lifestyle and ease the struggles which most of the people face in their everyday life. DONET plans to continue to contribute in national and international development and improvement of the socio-economic structure and set examples and models for others to follow.
