Administrative works has issues always, but in a large scale the reason to be a victim to any harassment is not because the system is corrupt, but because they have lack or information. So, If you have any work at Dinajpur Municipality, make sure you know the process & the service charge pretty well. You can get many common service info from the billboard at the entrance which is established by the Concerned Citizens Committee (CCC), Dinajpur, inspired by Transparency International Bangladesh (TIB).

And there is also a complain box given.

Dinajpur municipality was founded in 1856 by British government & the first mayor of the municipality was Deputy Magistrate. Deputy Magistrate was commissioned to Chairman. Mr. Patterson was appointed the first Chairman of Dinajpur Municipality in 1869.

Dinajpur Municipality is located at the opposite side of Dinajpur Zila School. It has a very old and traditional building with some new ones. All kinds of citizens facilities are available here like Nationality Certificate, Birth certificate etc.
