  Launches from Dhaka used to come here back in 2000. But due to emergence of new islands in the middle of the broad river Shandhya, the only route for the launches to come here: the Dhaka-Dhamura-Dhaka launch service stopped some 10-14 years ago. Presently launches of small route come here. You can go to Shwarupkathi, Banaripara using launches from this Launch Ghat.
