A traditional mosque architecture follows as Mugal Emparrorship age. There's is a meath 400 years ago the mosque was built and in British age the mosque was rebuilt by Zamidar Asgar Ali Chowdhury and named as Asgar Ali Chowdhury Jame Mosque.
To carry out the tradetion the old mosque keep same as old and built a new mosque with start of art technology in natural lighting and saraunded by lack. It's a nice combination of tradetion, modern and nature.

This is something awesome.
I went to this Masjid before Iftar at Ramadan. I prayed my salat at this masjid.
This is very good architecture and this Masjid is one of the finest Masjid in Chittagong.
There is a surrounded waterbody around the Masjid, and also this gives a floating experience to the people and this is very nice Masjid I have ever visit.response / report this review -

This is so old and historical Mosque which is placed 400 years ago. but till now the mosque is live and fully good condition. The mosque architect design is so attractive, but the mosque is very small. that's why there local people are made new mosque inside of old mosque. New one also so nice. excellent architecture. there environment is so nice.

Asgar Ali Chowdhury Jame Moshjid is an example of contemporary
mosque. It is constructed at 2015. It is located at
the back of old Asgar Ali Chowdhury Jame Moshjid which
was built over 200 years ago. The old mosque is now conserved
as a heritage building. The newly build mosque is
surrounded by agricultural land and beautiful nature. There
is a ‘Shaan’ space in front of it along with a small water body
to the South. The old mosque is adjacent to the ‘Shaan’
space. In front of the old mosque there is a 12 feet wide road
and a big pond beside the road. A primary school is located
at the North-West corner of the mosque. There is no mentionable
noise source in this area rather it’s a quiet and calm
place blended with nature.
The composition of materials in this mosque is some reflective
and absorbing materials which are rough concrete wall,
huge wooden doors, some glass works at the top corners.
Ceiling is composed with rough concrete and glass. All areaof the floor is covered by mosaic floor finishing. A square
plan mosque with a cubic form is very significant. The semi
outdoor space is surrounded by massive steel Jali (net). The
main prayer hall is consists of a square plan of 38’-0’’ X 38’-
0” and height of 38’-0”. The main prayer hall of this mosque
has an estimated volume of 54,872 cubic feet and a floor area
of 1444 square feet. No extra acoustical design is noticeable

North Halishahar Ashgar Ali Chowdhury Jame Mashjid

I was Overwhelmed by seeing this Wonderful Place of Worship.
The Architect has successfully created a beautiful piece of Building.
The Interior space speaks for itself, a Cubic shape building with a Geometrically designed Roof which fully provides Natural Lighting, also very intelligent use of corner windows create a mesmerizing effect on the Psychology of people who comes to say a Prayer.
The Moshjid complex is surrounded by Water body which represents Purity. A Concrete Textured White Cube surrounded by a Water Body!!
Also the Old Moshjid is Preserved at the Eastern Side of the New Moshjid. Old vs New create a beautiful Contrast and Commemorates Time.
I shall definitely go there Again and Again, to Pray to GOD Almighty with a Peaceful Mind.response / report this review -

It is not chowdhury para mosque, It is Asgar Ali chowdhury jame mosjid. situated at Osi meah chowdhury road (not chowdhury para road)North halishahar. It was built by Asgar ali chowdhuy (zaminder) in early nineteenth century.

Asghar Ali Chowdhury Jame Masjid (Mosque) situated at Osi Mia Chowdhury Road North Halishaher. Built during the 19th century (British period) by Zamindar Asghar Ali Chowdhury. Renovated in the 1970s and recently last year 2016. A real gem of an architecture

300 year old mosque. Its established before Pakistan period. The old one recent renovated but now its not use for prayer.
