This islands previous name was char piya but now it is changed into bhasan char and not yet corrected in the google map. After a very short time it will become a tourist place when all people's of the world will come to visit this place. It is preparing & it will open for all just after few time on completion of embankment work. This island allocated for the rohinga Lots of mangrove in it as like Sundorban & dense forest. A huge number of baffalos in this island like wild often looking snake & big rates.

This place is called Vasan Char.
The Bangladesh Navy has recently been given the responsibility to develop 13,000 acres of land on the char to create temporary accommodation for up to 70,000 Rohingya refugees within the next two years.

It is not actually Char Piya though it is in google Map. Its actual name is Bhasan Char. 13 km embankment is already completed at that island. Very soon inhabitants will start living there. Sorrounding is covered by mangrove forest. Communication is only waterways.

It's renamed as Bhashan Char. I visited this place for official purpose. Now huge development activities doing here. Government of Peoples Republic of Bangladesh now allocate this char(island) to rehabilitate the Rohinga Refugees.
