It's the government hospital in Chandpur District. There have 250 bed facilities for patient. People can take the better treatment for there any diseases.

Its the biggest Government Hospital in Chandpur with 250 bed for patients. There is a new building in addition to old building. It is near rail gate situated in Hospital road just opposite of Hotel Grand Hilsha.

Sarcastically, Chandpur Sadar Hospital is the school/college/university for all doctors who serve in the 50+ private clinics, diagnosis centers situated almost every building in the Chandpur sadar area. This hospital does have everything, both in size and quality, but it lacks something as all government office does, that is a group of staffs who own it, and a flock of doctors who serve it. So, ultimately, it paved way of immense growth of private clinics and diagnosis centers in every nook and corner in the sadar upazilla.
