  Grate place to buy fish. Fish price is low in fishing season. Main attractive fish is Hilsa fish. Also you can find restaurant who can cook your' buying fishes. And people's are friendly too.

  The Chandpur district is very famous for Hilsha fish. The Prime Minister of Bangladesh announced Chandpur as the house of Hilsa. That's called "Ilisher Bari Chandpur". I feel proud my homeland is district of Chandpur. This place is always crowded for fish buyer.

  Don't get the wrong idea that hilsha is cheap here, coz it's not. If you are buying a lot (50+ kg) that is a different scenario.
  
  But hilsha is fresh here, no doubt to that.

  This is only one market that you can find original padma river hilsha fish and others also.

  Fish ghat is 24 hours so much busy in Hilsa fish season. Good quality fish available here. But have to active when buy fish. I saw 1.6 kg weight Hilsa fish. It was good feeling to me. but price was little bit extra for me.

  Fresh fishes available here but price is little bit higher than other markets. Specially fresh Hilsha Fishes are available here.
