Went there a few days back. Really enjoyed the whole environment. They decorated the inner portion very nicely which is enough to attract anyone going there.
Food quality is also good. Didn't have to wait too much.
To sum up, they deserve this 5 star rating.

Excellent place for those who have got a sweet tooth like me
Loved their tart and chocolate souffle. Soooooo good. Loved the pasta and cheesecakes. A bit expensive.

Compared to some other restaurants in Gulshan, Bittersweet food quality and taste is far better and superb. I will definitely go there again with my family. The environment is very nice, staff behavior is excellent. The lunch menu with rice and chicken has all the good tastes one can expect.

Ideal for informal work meeting/casual hangout over coffee/tea. Used to have the best cheesecake in Dhaka but the quality has declined. Still has decent pastries and desserts though. The highlight at the moment would be profiteroles.

Love hanging out here.the cafe was once one of the few coffee options in Gulshan but today there are more options than one's fingers. Nonetheless bittersweet is still a good hangout for food, coffee or dessert coupled with amicable ambiance and service.

A kind of different restaurant with exquisite cream of chicken soup & chocolate brownie. Price a bit high though .it can be compensated with the cozy ans congenial environment. :)

Nice place for a weekend hangout with friends. Their desserts are to die for (chocolate souffle and banoffee pie are amazing!). Bittersweet also has a great selection of savory items on the menu. Chicken pot pie particularly comes to mind.
