One of the oldest Mosque built in 861 Hijri, in Narinda Dhaka. Though this masjid is renovated, the old part of this masjid is still there in its original form. The new building has all the modern facilities as well as decorations. Any one can sit and pray in the old part also.

Binat Bibi Mosque is the earliest surviving mosque in Dhaka built in 1454 by Bakht Binat, the daughter of Marhamat. It was during the rule of the Sultan of Bengal, Nasiruddin Mahmud Shah (r. 1435–1459).is located beside the Hayat Bepari's Bridge in Narinda area.

The mosque is a square, single domed mosque measuring 12 feet (3.7 m) square internally with a single hemispherical dome atop the square room. Entrances are from east, north and south. Pre-Mughal features included the curved cornices andbattlements, corner octagonal turrets, and archeson the south, north and eastern sides. The ornamentation is modest and the building is coated with plaster.

Part of the mosque is being demolished as part of a renovation plan which includes building a 70-foot (21 m) high minaret, and the extension of the current building from three stories to seven.

The oldest ancient mosque of Dhaka as well as Bangladesh so far discovered. Unfortunately this most valuable archaeological site lost its original structure. But you may have a touch of it.

I just loved this mosque. It is the most oldest mosque in the city, and some says it is the first mosque of dhaka. Actuall building was very small with two gambuj, and near to this a 4 stored building created. Some says the mosque was build about 800 years ago. I prayed Jummah there. New buildings 1st floor there was lacking of speaker that prayerer could not hear clearly from behind. But comitte was asking for donation to execute sone AC. It was a foolish thing. Others everything was absolutely ok.
