The Barisal Club is one of the latest of the clubs that have come up in Barisal and by now has its own premises on nearly 1.5 acres of land in club road of Barisal, with 1376 members (including 48 Foreign National Members). When Barisal had developed into a fairly populated community, with almost all the amenities of urban neighborhood, people were thinking seriously of setting up a private club. In February of 1986, a few residents of Barisal met for discuss about the formation of a club styled 'Barisal Club Limited'. Those enthusiastic persons formed a committee for taking necessary steps to set up the Club. This Committee took various steps to incorporate the Club, like rental of temporary accommodations and arranging various facilities for the Club's own land.

Best place to stay in Barisal. I highly recommend Barisal club. The rooms are spacious, clean all necessary facilities.

In room services is a bit slow. But overall its a very good place to stay on your official trip or vaccation.

There is no swimming pool, that is the only shortcoming i see in this property

Instead of Barishal Club, I'm reviewing the guest house of the club where club members as well as the guests from outside can stay here with rent. Almost modest accommodation with basic amenities. Rooms are are large, air conditioned with basic decorations. Food is available from restaurant, test is so so. Mid range expense and mid range accommodation. Toilet could be better for better experience. Mosquito could be an issue during sleeping.

Barisal Club is a nice place. It's by the most influential people. Resident, guest are welcomed by the member of the club. It's a large area and different types of facilities for the members and also for the guest. This club is very popular in Barisal. It is in the heart of the city. Good and diciplined work force make the area clean, usable and fit. I have stayed here for once and felt better than other hotel or guest houses. It's a nice place. This place is on the bank of main road. People and food are also nice. It's a restricted are with full of security.

A very beautiful place for accommodation, foods and facilities in Barisal Town. It is in the Heart of the city and surrounded by very beautiful place. It started its journey on 1864 and Was registered on 19 August 1911. Later earlier of 2011 Renovated by Our beloved late Hiron Vhai. The Showkat Hossain Hiron Guest House is very beautiful place to live on - rooms are very clean, spacious.
Foods are delicious & Prices are very reasonable. Also the service is superb.

It's one of the most old club in Bangladesh. There are Bar, playing arrangement and restaurant also. They follow dress code strictly. There is also a residential guest house where non member can stay like other residential hotel.
