I studied for a short time in there and i passed a really good time in there. At the end i miss the college and also the natural beauty of cantonment. You Never can imagine that how beautiful a cantonment can be. The weather of the cantonment is different. The discipline is different. Everyone fellow the rules. Everyone care about the society. After all it's the the where the army families live. They r disciplined by the army.

The college was established on 1 March 1960 as Shaheen School (English Medium). Bangla medium was introduced from 1967, in parallel with English medium. Shaheen High School was renamed as B A F Shaheen College Dhaka for opening intermediate level from 1977.

It is the best school one can ask for. Beautiful campus, friendly teacher as well as good sports events made this school one of the best in dhaka. Although civilians cant get the admission here as its only for military children. But even then it is famous outside cantonment.

located in the Air Base BANGABANDHU.
As its on a air base so entrance is very restricted for outsiders without premission .
If you want to go there then you have to get a pass for entering the base.
Its not only a college but also a school .
Both school and college is run by a running airforce officer who is a group captain.

It was my school & college.I studied here from 1999 to 2008. Awesome environment inside. Teachers were highly skilled and cordial to the students. There are two playgrounds inside.This is famous school in Dhaka city both interms of curricular, co-currcular and extra curricular activities.I am really proud being a shaheen.
