  This mosque is one of the oldest mosque of the city and was founded in 16th century. Historically it is an important site. Though it was expanded to accommodate people, original structure exists till today. Mosque's floor plan resembles other medieval era mosques of Chittagong such as Badar Awlia Mosque, Kazi Bari Mosque etc.
