Full of natural beauty with calm and comfortable resort facility. All delicious natural foods. Space to take full breath. Excellent security with high quality management. If you have a few days to take a break from your busy life go to this place and find a new motivation.

One of the best and beautiful resort in Rangamati. People who love to be in nature they can come over here to enjoy the natural resources and the beauty. Lovely place for honeymoon couple as well.

It's a Very nice place for tourists. It's a perfect place for enjoying holidays. All around are very clean and tidy. It's under control of army. The price of ticket is 50/- bdt. There has many kinds of attractive trees and flowers.

Rainy season is the best time to visit Aronnak because you will enjoy each and every moment you stay at Aronnak. It's view, cozy and secured environment for safe family tour!

It is a decent resort. Though the place becomes crowded due to public visit. If you are looking for a private time this place isn't great. After 7 if you need tea or coffee you need to take a good walk for a tong. Security is high as this is part of the cantonment.

Nice picturesque place however difficult to elderly people to visit as they don't allow vehicles to enter so that you have to walk a long way to reach the actual venuethat is very unwanted and uncomfortable..
They have recently opened the water theme park "Happy Island " which is very enjoyable for kids and also very cheap besides they are providing a round trip by boat to the island for free..response / report this review -

The place is calm and quite with a lake beside it on one side and hill on other side. It is a very suitable place for couple going for spending times together. It has extra facilities like boating, Kayaking, swimming(swimming pool).

This is another resort maintained by Bangladesh army. As you expect from army management things are tidy and systematic. This place is divided into many parts. You would have to cut ticket separately for taking entry into different places. Same applies for different kinds of rides. From the different places I have liked the happy island most. It's kinda like water world or water kingdom. But it's placing is fabulous. It's situated in a island in the lake. You would have to take a boat ride to go there. The surrounding environment of the island is also nice. For the resort as a whole,as it's an army place there are some restricted place you can't go. So that's a bummer. Other than that a nice place to have a good time.

It is managed by Bangladesh army but open for all.This is one of the most beautiful resort in the country. It is so refreshing to stay overnight and I would suggest everyone to visit this place.Bangladesh army is maintaining the resort with highest standard.

Foods are really good, remember you need to order beforehand. Kids enjoyed the Happy Island a lot. The rooms and toilet were clean and spacious, but considering the rent it could be better.

It is a beautiful & relaxing place where you can visit with your family. Communication is good but wheelchair accessibility is limited in some places. You can avail various types of boat riding with enough safety. Overall security is great.

Nice stay. Good for kids. Good service. Staff are courteous. Food is homely. Security is good. However there is room for improvement. Rooms need more privacy and a bigger too. Could use more natural air instead of AC. Bathrooms could be better designed.

Very nice and well Management place by Bangladesh Army. Though area is not too big now but they will add more area soon. You will find water boat as well and floating restaurant here. Wide view of lake and well management secured environment. Best for half day tour.

This is one of the finest place in Rangamati. There are water jets here for the visitors which is kind of a fun. A water park is under construction which will come up very soon. There are luxurious resorts which have all the modern facilities. Nice place to visit.

This is a holiday resort, operated and maintained by Bangladesh Army inside Rangamati Cantonment. It's located just beside the Kaptai Lake. As usual it is of one of the best places maintained by Bangladesh Army.
If you are looking for a place to relax, you can travel to Rangamati and stay here for several days. This is undoubtedly the best place to stay and dine in Rangamati. They have a small swimming pool as well.
I have been there for couple of times and still feel like going there again and again. They have boat service, rent a car service. These are cheaper than other places of Rangamati. They serve the best quality food at minimum price.

Good with respect to the size of the city. But as a whole, facilities are very limited. Looks good in pictures than real. Access is not smooth for public as it is situated inside an army cantonment.

Aronnok resort is located near to Rangamati Cantonment managed by Bangladesh army.
Mind blowing natural beauty of Kaptai lake sometime seems too perfect.
If you plan to GRANT dedicated time to your own soul , it is a perfect place. This place is suitable for the people loves to listen the sound of silence.
I recommend to book "Gangshalik" VIP cottage to cherish the fullest. I am unable to explain the reason but if you listen my suggestion you won't regret, that's what I can assure. Adventurous people stay away from this place. Nothing is for you here!
It is expensive indeed and the food is not special. You will not get enough opportunity to select from the range. Don't expect proactive hospitality from the resort staff. You need to pre order every meal ahead of time else you've to starving. Don't try to THINK or standardise with other private resort /cottage because it is army standard.
Available : slow wi-fi, bottoled water, swimming pool, boat service (payment needed) , souvenir shop, parking zone, drivers accommodation (with payment) and loads of fresh air plus neutral beauty (complimentary and no need to pre order ).
Not available : credit card payment, maid accommodation, alcohol drinks, spa, clean towels, pro active hospitality.
Final suggestion: One day stay is enough in this resort unless you are planning to write a new novel to recover the cost of accommodation. Cheers!response / report this review
