A very nice stadium that is out of bounds for civilian sports. The only civilian sport allowed are music concerts. Only when something like a SAAF Games happen the stadium is opened for civilians. The army doesn't use it much either. End result is nice stadium under used in a city that has very few sporting facilities.

The stadium is good for concerts. I went there several times. I found the stadium good. But not so good for international tournament. I think it is used by the Bangladesh Army for training purposes. The inside view of the stadium is okay for me. The exterior is average. I went to the stadium only for several programs and the capacity is average. I hope the stadium will be a great attraction one day.

One of the finest stadium consists all the sports items and field of the Olympic. It is a really astonishing place in the midst of urban area. Alongside sports and athletic events, concert (huge crowd) also held here! Some pictures of highly developed gym equipments are given here!

Bangladesh Army Stadium is a multi-use most beautiful stadium in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Its a stadium in the cantonment area controlled by Bangladesh Army. It is currently used mostly for football matches and hosts the home matches of Bangladesh Army. It has been famous now a days for a few of the biggest cultural programs taking place in here are Dhaka International Folk Fest, Bengal Classic Music Fest, Joy Bangla Concert etc. The stadium holds 15,000 people. Army Swimming Complex is located beside the army stadium.

A grand place. The enthusiastic spectators are the life force of the stadium. There is a general lack of maintenance in the entire facility. This includes even the VIP areas. I observed a few broken seats in every stand. Bathrooms are not properly kept up. There is a heavy presence of security personnel everywhere. Entry & exit was handled in an organized manner. Floodlights were in top working condition.

One thing i love about this stadium is the systematic arrangement of the queue of audience to get into the stadium on different cultural and national occasion. The security checking might make you kind of irritated but that's okay for me as every heavy occasion needs heavy security otherwise any flaws in safety may trigger unexpected terror incident. Overall ambience is quite soothing for the mass to be a part of any event organised in this stadium. The most negative part is the lack of shades over the stadium seats. Authorities should give a head in to this matter.

Bangladesh Army Stadium is one of the biggest stadiums in Dhaka. It is controlled and operated by Bangladesh Army. It is mostly used for football matches. It can hold 15,000 people. There is Swimming Complex beside the stadium. Its a stadium and sports complex at Dhaka Cantonment. It is the nerve centre of games and sports in Bangladesh. It football field combined with synthetic athletic track. It has facilities for other games and sports like hockey, boxing, handball, Rugby, archery etc. It also has a modern swimming complex beside it. Besides it has indoor complex and fitness centre. This facilities are for the use of army personnel. The stadium ground is frequently used for big concerts and large music festivals.
