Its now 24 hours open. They manage separately for testing non covid patient under big tent where you can pay and submit sample on your convenient time. Only blood, they do not have X-ray facility. Price is lower than any private hospital test. Price is very close to government hospital. Test accuracy is very high.

Nobody bothers to response to any telephonic call. Nobody is aware whether a correct valid phone number is there in website. Does this org bother to serve the civilians? But everything runs on taxpayers money!

This is one of thr best place in Bangladesh for Pathological and Laboratory tests.
This is situated in cantonment area, specially for providing services to Defense Forces People.
Though they are doing good job for providing services,timely delivery of test report with maximum level of accuracy but need to improve handling patient efficiently.
People need to stay in que for payment and tests.Need more space and people to provide services. Officers have separate arrangements to make tests and wash rooms. But,this kinds of services are not standard for civil people.

This is a large scale pathological centre, operated by Military Medical Services. I really like this. It's quite dependable. Besides military personnel and their family, any citizen can get their tests from here.
Discipline is highly maintained here. The staffs are well behaved and coordial. Despite of so much visitors, parking place is enough to accommodate all.
The location is just opposite to CMH. So, all the CMH patients get their tests from here. Public and private transport both are available here to come as well as to go. As per the location, anyone can reach here easily.
Thereby, I suggest it for all.

Really low cost for pathology tests. For example, I did a Urine R/E+CS test at Delta (Ansar camp) and Ibn Sina for 640 tk. And shockingly same test costs only 370 tk. at AFIP. AFIP area is quite beautiful, clean. Service was quick and the people at the counter was also friendly. AFIP is open 24x7, so not to worry about opening hours. I would recommend going in afternoon as morning time may be a little crouded (but still fast enough service). Report delivery time is after 12 pm where most diagnostic centres require coming after 7pm. Only trouble someone may have is to get access in cantonment area. Keep a ID card, doctor's prescription for ensuring access in case MP asks for destination and/or ID/prescription.

This post is mainly for the civillian patients. If you need to do any pathological test, then AFIP is the best place. It is almost 50% cheaper than any other diagnostic center, and also this place is open 24 hours 7 days a week. Most importantly the service is extremely good
