Ananda Mohan College is a famous government affiliated university college of Bangladesh situated in of Mymensingh town. It is one of the old & best educational center in Bangladesh. Founded by Ananda Mohan Bose who also founded the City College(kolkata) in 1878,& he decided to open a college at his home town in Mymensingh. In 1883, an educational institution was established at the residence of Ananda mohon as the City Collegiate School. Later the college section of the institution was shifted to College Road on 1 January 1908 as a college and it was named after him. In 1964, the college was nationalized. Now it is best college in Mymensingh.
