It is a very popular bakery with a good reputation. It has some unique products like horlicks biscuit and cake. During Ramadan it offers spectacular after items. It also offers special items on Shab-I-Barat like Shormaly Rooti. It has it's original branch in the Old Dhaka.

Originally found in Old dhaka Ananda Bakery established this shop later in old airport road just beside shahin school it is a very old and famous bakery in Dhaka, They have wonderful products like "Ponir Somcha" whole chicken roast etc and the taste is same like what we used to eat 20 years ago.

Their main strength is that they have maintained the same extra ordinary quality of bakery items for long long time. Varieties of bread and other bakery items r really tasty and healthy. Their cake and pastry is also good to have. Their special attraction is their halim during the holy ramadan period. Few of their sweets items are also very good in quality which has been separated recently by the name Anand Mithai just beside Anand bakery.

I am big fan of their ovaltin cake and fruit cake and the fruit bun since last 25 years. And they still are maintaining the taste of the cakes.
