Almas is a cinema hall at Chittagong in Bangladesh.
Basically, the condition of cinema halls in Bangladesh is not that much good. They releasing local Bengali movies which are not that friendly with the people so only a few people watch those movies in this hall.
But sometimes some good movies also released at that time you will find so many people booking the movie tickets.
Almas cinema hall is situated east side of "wasa circle" it's around 100m in Chittagong.

It's one of the oldest cinema hall, the atmosphere there is okay, not much commotion like the other cinema halls. Recommended for cheap entertainment.

This is one of the oldest cinema hall in Chittagong, located at the junction of Chatteswari road and Reboti Mohan Lane. Actually there are two cinema halls, Almas and Dinar, although this complex is popularly known as Almas Cinema Hall.
Unfortunately, once cozy and famous movie theatre Almas has lost it's charm. It's big-screen is not standard any more and so does it's sound-system. Seats are also uncomfortable and mostly torn. As a result, although they release recent bangla movies (including good ones), trendy crowds no more come here.

The oldest cinema place of Chittagong. It is dirty, the seats are torn, it smells and not to mention the pests. Enjoyed 2-3 movies there. only this cinema hall in Chattagram where good films are screened. As one of the oldest cinema hall of Chattagram its interior is old. lighting system not good, projecting quality very bad and sound system very very bad. Couple are loving this place to spend some quality of times.

This is one of the oldest cinema place of Chittagong. Over the years it has fallen pray to ignorance aggravated due to lack of maintenance. It is dirty, the seats are torn, it smells and not to mention the pests. The attachment owing to it being one of the oldest and most prominent cinema halls remains for us fellow Chittagonians. But it seriously needs overhauling.

Enjoyed some movies there. It's the only cinema hall in Chattagram where good films are screened. As one of the oldest cinema hall of Chattagram its interior is old. Seats are broken, poor lighting system, worse projecting quality along with the worst sound system.

The quality of the cinema in recent times is not up to the mark.
You can't go there with your family.
But beside this cinema hall you will find a world class comvention hall.
You will also find the largest supershop of Chittagong.
In the opposite you will find the spacious mosjid of Chittagong namely "Jamiyatul Falah".

Enjoyed 2 movies there. The hall need to do lot more for a good user experience. Prices are over compared to the quality. Screen is very low brighten. Sound was average. Washrooms are pathetic. Whole place is dark. Seats are torn and some are broken!

This hall is too old but not in styling and comfort.At a very less price of , you get a good service in the hall. For budget people it gives you a feel of inox with its comfortable and adjustable seats.At this price no other hall has such good seats.Totally recommended by me.If you have less budget, it is perfect.

Place was good. The building is old, and it's an old cinema hall. You can expect everything according to that. But, you can enjoy your cinema. The place is a little dusty but that doesn't matter. Beware of thiefs outside the cinema hall.

Sit quality not so well. The sound system is very bed. The brightness of the screen is low. But the atmosphere of the hall is awesome for movie show. If those problems could be solved, it would be a very famous cinema hall.

Screen quality was very poor. Last time i watched 'Aynabaji', that was far better.

'Debi' show ruined a little bit because of the screen and sound quality. Hope they will improve it. Overall, Happy Watching!

No AC. Seats not even minimum level. Usually shows B grade movies but national films get release in this cinema hall. Tickets price vary from 80-150bdt.

One of the last cinema halls in chittagong city. The screen was upgraded to Digital by Jaaz. The only place in the centre of the city to enjoy Bangla Cinema with friends and family. The atmosphere inner the hall is moderate.

Though known as the best Cinema Hall in Chittagong but I m totally disappointed at the picture quality of the shows, the screen is gloomy(Low Brightness) and sound quality is also poor. I must say the environment of the hall is below standard as well. The authority should work on the improvement of the environments and other facilities associated with the hall.

Ticket price higher compare to it's quality. chairs are broken,in summer audience suffer the heat.sound system is ok but movies are playing in low brightness.
But this is the only cinema hall in Chittagong where the big budget movie or quality movies are come.
Lot of work to do to make a better place.

as it is one last and old one cinema hall here, its good.. but there is no wheelchair accessibility here and not yet air conditioned. washroom facilities is so far good and sits are soo poor in condition..but as tradition, to keep its fame, it should be monitored properly.
