This Railway Junction is the largest railway junction in Bangladesh.
Many train across this station specially Sylhet & Chittagong root.This Station is very busy. Passengers should be careful for there luggage, bags,cellphones & ornaments.

Important railway junction in eastern railway of Bangladesh between Dhaka-Chittagong rail section.It connects Sylhet-Akhaura rail section with Dhaka-Chittagong rail section. One of the oldest stations with large area and beautiful environment.Always busy and crowded.Trains to big cities such as Dhaka, Chittagong,Sylhet,Mymensingh available from here.Though it's an important railway junction but not that much well developed.

It is 2nd largest junction station of Bangladesh Railway.
The Junction has connected Dhaka to sylhet, Dhaka to chittagong & Cittagong to Sylhet. It has one Loco shed. One TXR office, one Large loco running room (as rest house), one Large Traffic Running Room, One RNB office contaning huge stuff. It has also a Institute named LAL HOSEN INSTITUTE where all stuff can watch tv, play caram, Lodo they(stuff) also injoy drama every occasion. Here is a Hospital situated bedside TITAS River. Hospital play a good services in Healthcare of all stuff. Here also a A.E.N , a PWI & a IWO office.
