  One of the oldest Mosque located in old Dhaka. Called Alhe Hadis Masjid. It has also a Madrasa next to it. Decades ago one businessman named VOTTO HAJI build this mosque on his land and he made this waqf property. Now this mosque and Madrasa managed by a powerful PONCHAET COMETTY. People lives spreaded all over Dhaka comes to attend Jummah Prayer every Friday who's are lived here before or who's are the original local lived here before. In the month of holy Ramadan, the last 5 odd number nights people crowded here to attend tahajjut prayer. In this mosque have separate prayer BUILDING for females. Every prayer females can pray here. Most old part of this mosque is the main prayer room where the Imam instruct prayer. This mosque have another name BANGSHAL BORO MASJID. Interesting thing is prayer of both the Eids not prayed here if there is no climate changes. Both the Eid prayer arrange to University play ground located at Dhaka University by this mosque. That time peoples of the other ahle hadis mosque on surrounding areas comes to join there on that field. And always that prayers done on open field without any cover. Beside that they arrange separate arrangement for females also. A part from that from many location Mosque management arrange free transport for people to join Eid prayer.
