This place is nice for travelers. But not hygiene. Little crowdy place. Now a days as a result of water pollution, people of this area are getting sick day by day. As a result this place losing the tourist attraction. But in rainy season this place is rally beautiful.

Bandar Nouka(boat) Ghat is a busy place. There is a competition with them to take passengers. You will fin many boats both side of the place. It's nice to see from the boat both side of the ghat, river, people, trawler, boats etc. People who living both side of the river cross the river normally by this boats. People who travel this area love to cross the river by boat. Once I was crossing the river and felt good. Though water had bad smell and boatmen had in clash but it is not a big issue, I enjoyed a lot. If you want to enjoy you can easily cross the river by boat. Even you can hire boat for long tour in the river for short time if you do it you will definitely enjoy it.

Nice place for taking pictures. You can reserve boats for hour sightseeing in Shitalakkha. But it wont be a smart decision if you consider it during winter. The water during winter is pretty stinky.
