  পাথরঘাটা বিএফডিসি মৎস্য বাজার is the most important part of Patharghata BFDC (Bangladesh Fishing Development Corporation). It is the 2nd biggest Fishing Development Corporation in Bangladesh. It plays the most effective role in the financial development of Patharghata. Almost everyone in Patharghata is directly or indirectly involved with BFDC. Every interested person (such as fisherman, boat-woner, investor, transportation vehicles woner, day Labour, educated person, worker etc) has a scope to involve here according to his ability, interest and skills. Not only from the people of Patharghata but also people from almost every Districts in Bangladesh can be found here in different jobs. Besides, it is also an amazing and exceptionally enjoying tourist attractions in Bangladesh. Actually I think, it is nearly impossible to describe the place within such a short article.

  This place is near to both Bay of Bengal and the Sundarbans. One of the largest hub of Sea fish trading of the southern Bangladesh.
