The Whitepark Wesleyan Holiness Church is one of thirty- eight (38) such churches located in Barbados in the West Indies, as part of the Barbados District of the Wesleyan Holiness Church.

Whitepark has the distinction of being the first Wesleyan Holiness Church to be established in Barbados, and is celebrating one hundred (100) years of its existence this year (2012). Over the years it has been one of the leading churches in the denomination with outstanding personnel both in the clergy and the laity, who have not only been actively engaged in ministry at the Local Church level, but at the District and Caribbean levels as well.

A community church at heart, some of its key programs reflect that essential philosophy of the church playing a meaningful role in society. Such activities range from hosting several groups on an annual basis for their Anniversary Thanksgiving celebrations, consistent outreach in the surrounding communities and nationally through a vibrant weekly radio broadcast, providing counseling services, empowering members of the general public through community skills programs, effective ministry to the elderly at several Senior Citizens ‘Homes as well as through a special skills and Exercise programs in the Church Hall and convened in association with the National Assistance Board – a Statutory Corporation in Barbados.

The church is strategically located at Whitepark Road in the parish of St. Michael which is the most densely populated of the eleven (11) parishes. It is easily accessible by foot since it is only about ten minutes walk from the main bus terminals in the heart of Bridgetown. Alternatively one can make use of the numerous Public Service Vehicles which ply the area with great frequency.
