Very often, we focus on teaching children WHAT to think, instead of HOW to think. While we dictate the "what to", "how to" and "when to" for our children, psychologists have noted that these instructions are, " more likely to be accepted if children are encouraged to think through why certain behaviors are preferred over others." -William Klemm, D.V.M., Ph.D.
