Lovely idea but very empty and not many places open or it has artists shops which are lovely but unaffordable. It looks like ghost town. We passed it on our walk to Kensington cricket stadium and used the facilities.
The best place in Barbados to find locally made souvenirs/gifts.
Had a productive time at The Monkey Pot and found 2 lovely pieces to send abroad. Whenever I am looking for something local I always go to the Monkey Pot where the owner is extremely helpful in showing me beautiful pieces to purchase.
Good to wander aroundthe various different shops and 2 nice bars
Very nice. But sad that so many great store places have closed up. The ones that are left, we checked them out, very nice bought a few things. The people are soooo very nice.
Great for photos and souvenirs. Pelican Village's bright buildings are a nice tourist attraction. Though not all the shops are open still there are some beautiful craft pieces. On a sunny day, very nice place to walk around with 1 or 2 restaurants. There is also a nice park to walk through across the street.
Great craft and art for self or as gifts.
Not a lot of vendors, but beautiful items in the few that are there. Also some touristy trinkets.
Gift shops with locally made stuff.. pottery, wood made articles and other items. Great juice bar too.
There is a new gym there Island Fitness Center..craft and jewelry can be found in the other shops although there is not as many shops as before.
The best place to shop for local designs, craft and products
The food and customer service was well worth the time and money
Excellent for all the family lots of animals to see
A place where you can get beautiful bajan art s and craft
Pelican Village is great for local arts and craft there is a restaurant there and even a thrift store
Pelican is a local Craft's village, one can witness creations right before your eyes, there're many crafts made from various materials to purchase here.
Nice atmosphere, very helpful people and a lovely view of the sea, port and the coast
Crafts, bars and toilets
I went here at 2pm on a Monday and it was a ghost town. The few shops that were open didn't have much. The exterior of the craft centre looks colorful and appealing but I think it left much to be desired.
