Not a. Bad place to shop prices are comperativly reasonable and it has nearly every thing I needed
Good place to shop for groceries and household items. It doesnt have an extensive selection of goods but the service makes up for it. Parking is limited.
A traditional supermarket in the sense that there are made available most items that would stock a likwise traditional family home. There is not much that really stands out physically at this location, altogether it makes for pleasant enough environnment, the supermarket is kept well stocked and selections vary widely, it is functional for every day usages. The location is central and accessible to all transportation needs and the prices are what you might term average in comparison to more heavily touted locations. In addition, a small shopping area is readily accessible to, say, more specialities such as handmade jewellry along with a selection of small, cosy dining spaces serving more health oriented menus. Beyond this type range one should be able to seek out alternative locations.
A very welcoming, basic grocery store. The only downside to it is the ridiculous amount of plastic bags they use! Otherwise great as a grocery store
Great prices but need a wider variety of things
The parking is fairly tight at times as it always seems busy. However, the prices are reasonable for the most part.
well stocked supermarket with prices suited to the budget of all who shop there. Customer service needs some improvement.
Cashier was unfriendly. Visited around 10:00am. Express line cashier was already closed off and there was no replacement cashier. Stood in regular line with one item only. Customers have to replace baskets. Wasn't impressed this time around.
Farmers Choice turkey burgers regularly priced at $12 were advertised on sale for $6. I jumped at this fabulous offer, grabbed 10 boxes, and headed to the cashier. The cashier scanned the first box and the regular price came up. I told her the item has an advertised sale price and I asked my husband to bring the paper with the advertisement which was directly positioned above the turkey burgers, corresponding barcode, name, weight everything. The cashier called the supervisor Dale, showed him the box of burgers and the advertisement for $6 and asked him if l have to pay the sale price or the regular price. He rudely and abruptly said, "tha' is not de right price, you gotta pay de regular price, you still want dem?" I responded "I would like the 10 boxes for the advertised
sale price." Again without an apology from cashier and supervisor on behalf of the supermarket for false advertising of the burgers I was abruptly and rudely told an emphatic "no". I left there totally disgusted. Mr. Jordan , your staff need training in customer relations, and to be taught the consumer laws in Barbados.
Good supply of most common shopping items. It's not a supermarket, consider it a small grocery store. They carry most staples such as chicken, vegetables, and baking items. Good snack food selection. Very good wine/beer/spirits selection. The few times we visited the card reader was "broken" and cash was required. When you're close to Speighstown you have little option. A plus is locals set up farmers style market on the sidewalk in town so vegetables can be purchased there also.
Great supermarket, now open on Sunday.
Good supermarket with variety of goods and friendly staff
This supermarket has all the essentials that you're after with some goods coming from the United States and the United Kingdom as well as local fruits and vegetables. The prices are reasonable and there is variety in products available. It can be a bit busy at times as there may be long queues and not enough cashiers. The aisles are not too cramped and you can easily maneuver around. You can pay by cash or card. I think cheques are no longer accepted. You can buy local lottery tickets and a Republic Bank cash machine towards the front of the store. There are staff who will take your items to the bus stand or to your car for you for a small fee if you have a number of bags. They also provide a shuttle service to local villages close to Speightstown though I am unsure of the frequency.
Great grocery shopping by the beach with decent prices. Restaurants are nearby.
Not like home but did serve purpose. Found what needed, staff helpful
The staff and managers always go out to make sure that the customers are happy when shopping
Parking space..convenient. .clean and good service. .
Reasonable price..busy but not too long a wait to be checked out..tidy enough(just only)
The service here is generally better than other branches and you will sometimes find things you never imagined you would. Sometimes items have been there for a long time though because of the low traffic volume to this location.
Good parking and they have just about everything you need
Things are a little reasonable
Well catered Supermarket in the North !! Opening hours are there to please every one !!
It I'd near home not too far. Shelves are packed good and have friendly staff as well as provide transportation for customers to the bu stand and residence
